Small College Conversations: Stephanie Dutton

Stephanie Dutton, Commissioner United East Conference, joins D3.ticker’s Anthony Grassi from Baltimore for the 2024 Women Leaders in Sports Convention. The two discuss her leadership as the conference has undergone significant evolution including a full rebrand that culminated with the launch of the United East Conference in the summer 2021 and the completion of a full conference merger with the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) in summer 2023. “I was building the airplane as it was flying at all times. We have a 25 page working document that we work through implementing our merger. There was no handbook or manual.” Dutton elaborates on what’s next for the conference.
