Doug Lipinski, West Texas A&M Vice President of Athletics, joins D2.ticker's Anthony Grassi from the 2025 NCAA Convention in Nashville. Lipinksi shares about his first five months at WT, determining career steps and being a leader that encourages your team’s professional growth: “I think it’s our responsibility as leaders to allow our students, student athletes, and assistant coaches to have time with the AD. You have to give them access. The mentorship that I had gave us access to be in the room so you’re hearing things, you’re understanding things which obviously is developing you as a professional for later.”
